Best Downtown Patio

“A river seems a magic thing. A magic, moving, living part of the very earth itself.”

Moose McGuire’s Brockville

6 Broad St, Brockville, ON

Brockville’s newest waterfront gastropub is located on the second floor of Tall Ships Landing. With stunning views of the St. Lawrence River, Moose McGuire’s has been voted Best Patio. (Pro Tip: They also have a third floor dining room and balcony.)

From casual affairs to fine-dining soirees in the water-facing events room, the Moose is one of the most dynamic venues in Brockville.

They also have food and drink specials every day of the week.
Monday-Friday: Daily specials kick off at 3pm, plus Happy Hour is 3pm-6pm. Saturday and Sunday have specials all day.
(Ed. note: Wine Wednesdays are looking pretty good.)

Bud’s On The Bay

17 Broad St, Brockville, ON

Across the street from Tall Ships Landing is Bud’s on the Bay. Bud’s riverfront patio seats up to 140 people and is one of the best spots in Brockville to sit and have a drink while you check out summer festivities at Blockhouse and on the river.

Bud’s is family-friendly and open everyday for breakfast at 7:30am. The dinner menu is served until 10pm. Their specialties are steak and seafood. Burgers are made with only fresh AAA ground beef.

Editor’s Choice

Buell Street Bistro

27 Buell St, Brockville, ON

The Bistro’s private courtyard is a beautiful and relaxing space and deserves an honorable mention for Best Patio. It’s my favourite place to enjoy a leisurely lunch with wine and good friends. Choose to be in the sun or shade. The courtyard can be accessed via George Street. Reservations are recommended.
